Color of the Year 2017
Updated: May 5, 2018
It is looking like Greenery will be the darling of the 2017 wedding color scheme and we are thrilled about it! Pantone's color palette is out and on point or as the kids are saying 'on fleek'. Of course those of us in the industry, especially florists, are finding it hard to resist all the eucalyptus, curly willow, myrtle, boxwood and pittosorum. It is positively swoon-worthy... Enter satisfied sigh here!
For the Spring you can't go wrong with Pale Dogwood, Hazelnut and Greenery. We would recommend using blush and deep ivory roses paired with antique hydrangea to pull all these colors together.
For the Summer taking Primrose Yellow and pairing it with either Island Paradise or Lapis Blue would be a boldly beautiful look. The best flower to start with would be a simple sunflower.
For Fall Flame is a perfect starting point, it will blend well with Primrose Yellow or be daring when paired with a pop of Pink Yarrow. You can even give it a glam makeover with a royal purple accent for a jewel toned scheme.
The best place to start for any event next Winter will be with the greenery. Whether it's traditional Christmas greens or more modern eucalyptus make sure you start with a layer of lovely greens as the base for all your arrangements.
We hope you are looking forward to next year as much as we are! We cannot wait to see what new adventures will be in store for us and we'd love to share it with you! Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter! Wishing you all a Happy New Year from fabulous Las Vegas!
